Our Purpose
At SaMoDa Labs Inc., we believe music learning is a powerful component of a well-rounded education. Research highlights numerous benefits of music education, such as improved spatial reasoning, reading skills, and mathematical abilities, which all contribute positively to a child’s development. While the direct link to IQ is still debated, there is no doubt that music can significantly enhance a child's overall well-being.
In many Western societies, children typically begin learning an instrument between the ages of 8 and 12, often joining an orchestra or band during this time. However, many children are eager to learn an instrument as early as age 6 or 7. Despite this early enthusiasm, research shows that about 50% of students discontinue music lessons by the time they reach 17, with most dropping out between ages 15 and 17.
